South to Seattle

Having been spoilt by another amazing breakfast from Cynthia in Ucluelet, we hit the road to Seattle and spent most of the day in the car. No whales spotted on the ferry crossing this time and mostly busy motorways so we were ready for some light relief when we arrived. 

We did our usual walk around the locality to orientate ourselves: starting at the Spaceneedle, down to the harbour side, along to the ferry terminal to suss out the timetable and back via Pike Place, where I managed to divert Jon into a hostelry at last! 

We think we might like Seattle!
