Happy Anniversary!

Well, 26 years on and we seem to still be together - who would have guessed it? We celebrated with a trip out to Tofino (quite frankly a non-event compared to lovely Ucluelet!), and treated ourselves to a nice coffee and a maple and bacon doughnut!

OK, contrary to Facebook, I may have had a small piece...

Then across to Schooner Cove, and a walk through the rain forest to a hidden gem of a beach at the top end of Long Beach. Yes, it drizzled a bit, but we enjoyed a picnic nevertheless, and scrambled across the rocks like we were kids!

We also watched two Bald Eagles, one of which was an almost fledged youngster - simply beautiful, but weather stopped flying I think...

Back in time to scrub up for a posh fish supper - it's a bit like being in Kinloss (happy days).
